Three Katy ISD students and members of the FFA were just awarded $20,000 from the Texas FFA Association. The proud recipients of this scholarship are:
Camryn Wilder (Katy High School)
Skyler Weathers (Katy High School)
Chloe Lebard (Taylor High School)
These seniors have worked hard for four years in Katy ISD’s FFA program. All three of these hardworking students are state champions in poultry judging ––– one of the FFA’s most challenging career development competitions.
This is an incredibly prestigious award for these students. There are over 115,000 FFA members, and out of all of them, only 140 scholarships are awarded to students who showcase the utmost passion and leadership in the field of agriculture.
Katy ISD is proud to celebrate these dedicated students and all of the hard work they’ve put into their education over the last 4 years. We are thrilled to see the continued growth and success of these students.
