Learning never ends, and the Falls at Green Meadows community has great resources!

Katy ISD began their Community Education Classes 27 years ago as a way for the community to expand their personal and professional skillsets. It has been a wildly successful program, and registration for the Fall semester of 2019 is open! This program will begin on September 16, 2019, which is when some classes will start their sessions. There are numerous sessions for a course to ensure a suitable education in the subject participants enroll in. Anyone interested in enrolling will be able to find courses in Arts, Business, Computer Skills, Crafts, Culinary, Finance, Health & Wellness, Languages, Personal Safety, Recreation, Self-Improvement, and Workshops for specific areas.

Different courses will be held at different Katy ISD campuses. The fee provides financial support for the courses, but credits will not available. In order to complete the enrollment process, fees will have to be paid before attending any classes. Students can receive certifications if available for certain classes as long as there is “a minimum of 80% attendance” throughout the duration of the course. Unfortunately, parents will not be allowed to bring children to the classes.

If anyone in the Falls at Green Meadows community is interested, keep in mind that there will NOT be any notifications to confirm enrollment. The only notification students will receive is if a class is cancelled or there is a change to the schedule.

This is an incredible opportunity to learn skills that may have been out of the question before due to time or finances. Take a look at the schedule to sign up before classes become full!
