Next, a free movie night and time with your kids before school begins? Sign us up! Katy Summer Nights is back again for the third time and is only 10 minutes away from our Falls at Green Meadows community. Tonight is a Movies in the Park event showing the animated film, “Wonder Park,” starting at sundown at VFW Park.
Wonder Park is an animated film that was released in theaters in March. It tells us about an imaginative little girl named, June Bailey, who finds herself in a situation where her imagination comes to life. Although the official time says the movie will start 8:00 p.m., we would recommend you and your family arrive earlier to set up a great spot! And yes, there will absolutely be complimentary popcorn.
This event as a whole will begin at 7 p.m. with dinner available for purchase from Great Harvest Bread Katy and crafts for your kids by Keep Katy Beautiful. HCC Katy and Montessori Kids Universe Bellaire will also be there with information about their schools and fun gifts to share.
Katy Summer Nights is organized by the City of Katy to make time for the community to get together. Be sure to bring your bug spray, lawn chairs, blankets, picnic basket filled with snacks and drinks, but leave the glass containers, alcohol, and pets at home. Please be considerate because the rules are there make this event enjoyable for every individual who attends. See more information on their Facebook Event Page.
