Cirque Italia, a traveling water circus, will be performing in Katy from Feb. 4-7. The one of a kind family-friendly circus will set up tents outside of Katy Mills Mall.
The Water Circus features Clown Rafinha and his journey to find buried treasure. Aerialist mermaids and stunt-performing pirates share their story in 30,000 gallons of water.
There are two other stationary water circus stages in Dubai and Las Vegas, but nothing like the water stage in Katy. The stage holds 30,000 gallons of water and lights and sounds create a digital water curtain.
The tickets are affordable for what is describes as a Vegas-quality show incorporating several different acts. Tickets can be purchased at www.cirqueitalia.com and children 2 and under are free.
