Katy ISD Plans To Limit Student Numbers For State Testing Days
Katy ISD is taking steps to ensure their student’s safety during state testing by limiting the number of students on campus for those days.
The district has submitted a request to the Texas Education Agency for 40% campus hybrid instruction for students ninth through 12th-grade. This would permit students not testing to learn remotely from home on the scheduled testing days.

Typhoon Texas To Host Splash ’N Dash
Typhoon Texas Waterpark in Katy is making plans for their 1st annual Lonestar Splash ’N Dash for kids ages 6 to 17 years of age (as of 12/31/2021). This competitive event consists of a 1-mile run, 125-meter swim, and 1-mile run.

Traveling Water Circus Heads To Katy
Cirque Italia, a traveling water circus, will be performing in Katy from Feb. 4-7. The one of a kind family-friendly circus will set up tents outside of Katy Mills Mall.
The Water Circus features Clown Rafinha and his journey to find buried treasure. Aerialist mermaids and stunt-performing pirates share their story in 30,000 gallons of water.

Katy High School FFA Booster Club is hosting their annual December Banquet as a drive-thru event meal event and online auction. This annual event helps raise funds for the Katy FFA student organization.
