Work on Cane Island Parkway project could begin next month

Work on the much-anticipated Cane Island Parkway could begin as soon as November, according to Katy City Administrator Johnny Nelson. This initial phase of the parkway is projected to run north from I-10 to Highway Boulevard in Old Town Katy. Eventually, the parkway will be extended northward to Morton Road, said Nelson.
