If you've missed Snappy's , it has re-opened. Snappy’s Cafe & Grill, located at 5803 US 90 in Katy, closed due to flooding experienced during Tropical Storm Harvey. The restaurant, which serves a variety of foods including American and Greek-inspired favorites, has reopened.

Katy ISD had a slight elevation in enrollment following Tropical Storm Harvey, with some students displaced by the devastation inside and outside district boundaries.
